The 2024 NBA Trade deadline isn't so far off now and the Philadelphia 76ers front office led by president of basketball operations Daryl Morey needs to start looking at potential trade targets. This is just the beginning of a series of articles covering potential trade targets and the point guard position will be the first to focus on potential trade targets. There are at least five point guards that can be potential trade targets for the Sixers and all of these trades were tested on Fanspo.com.

5 potential point guard trade targets heading into the Trade Deadline: Jevon Carter

The first point guard that the Philadelphia 76ers should consider is Chicago Bulls point guard Jevon Carter. In terms of a talent upgrade over veteran Patrick Beverly there isn't much of an upgrade. Both point guards are considered to be 3-and-D point guards who aren't especially strong playmakers.

However, Carter is younger and a better 3-point shooter than Beverly. Beverly has shot 31.4 percent this season where as Carter has shot 34.9 percent. Carter can play on and off the ball at the high level and can fit into his role fairly well.

The Bulls are currently 21-23 and 9th in the Eastern Conference. Despite going 6-4 in their past 10 games, it wouldn't be surprising if Chicago would be willing to make trades at the deadline. With that in mind, here is one potential trad to land Carter in Philly.

Potential Trade 1

The Bulls are lacking rotational wing players and this trade helps them get a bit bigger on the perimeter with House. They also get a young player with upside in Martin. Carter isn't on the level to where draft picks need to be included in this trade.
