5 potential point guard trade targets heading into the Trade Deadline: Killian Hayes

However, the Philadelphia 76ers might want to look at a younger point guard that might have a slightly higher upside. In that case a team that is tanking might be a better option to look at. With that in mind, the Detroit Pistons might be the ideal team to evaluate at their worst team in the NBA.

The young playmaker on their roster that the Sixers should be looking at is former lottery pick Killian Hayes. Despite never living up to the hype of being a top-10 he has become a solid role player despite his offensive limitations

This season, Hayes has averaged 7.4 points and 4.9 assists while shooting 40.8 percent from the field and 27.9 percent from the 3-point line. Despite the poor shooting, Hayes's playmaking cannot be denied and he's an underrated defender. Both are things the 76ers could add to their current backup point guard depth. Below is a potential trade that could land Philly the former lottery pick.

Potential trade 2

The Bulls get two players that better fit their with Korkmaz's shooting and KJ Martin's explosive athleticism are two things that they are lacking. Hayes gets a fresh start with the 76ers where he doesn't have high expectations of being a former lottery pick.
