5 potential point guard trade targets heading into the Trade Deadline: Terry Rozier

This next player is having a career year despite being in his ninth season. Terry Rozier is one of the bright spots on the lowly Charlotte Hornets. He's averaging a career-high 23.6 points and 6.7 assists on solid shooting efficiency.

The reason why the combo guard is putting up such impressive numbers is due to the Hornets missing franchise point guard LaMelo Ball because of injuries this season. Still, despite the inflated production, Rozier is still a very interesting prospect to add to the Philadelphia 76ers.

Thanks to starting next to Ball, Rozier can play on and off the ball which would be important for the Sixers if he landed on their roster. His playmaking is underrated too which is something Philly. With that being written let's take a look at what a potential deal could look like.

Potential trade

The 76ers get a little thin at backup center with this trade, but JT Thor should bring similar energy to that position like Paul Reed has. Rozier instantly becomes the best sixth man in the NBA with this trade as well. The Hornets also get a first round pick to help them as they continue to rebuild.
