2. Alec Burks

One of the more productive second-unit cogs in the league for quite some time now, the free agent market should remain amenable to Alec Burks, who’s on the lookout for another payday. While the Knicks could opt to retain him, his waning playing time signals that they could simply let another team pluck him in free agency.

The 13-year veteran is unlikely to warrant a hefty price tag in the market, so any team that manages to snag him would be in for quite a bargain get. The 76ers, tabbed to lose almost all of their bench commodities, should come knocking on his door. Alas, they already tried to snag him prior to the trade deadline, but to no avail.

Burks’ field goal percentage has been down this season, but his three-point shooting has quietly become a defining feature of his offensive package. Nevertheless, he remains a tenable shot creator off the bench who can be a pressure release playmaking-wise while offering considerable size to leverage on defense.
