4. Christian Wood

Not many outside of Philadelphia know that Christian Wood actually kicked off his NBA career with the 76ers, thanks in large part to the team still being on The Process era at that time. He didn’t actually see the court much during his stay here, but nevertheless, he warrants some consideration as a bona fide ex-Sixer.

Currently with the Lakers, Wood’s role and play this season have dramatically diminishes, setting numerous career-lows relatively speaking. That being said, his skill set ensures that he could still thrive in an environment conducive to his game, and by most measures, that place could once again be Philadelphia.

The 76ers need big man depth, and Wood — the one with a more limited role — has the makings to be a successful rotation piece. He’s still a nifty and athletic finisher in the paint who can swish the occasional three-pointer, and while his defense and rebounding can be detrimental at times, most of his deficiencies can be mitigated by playing him next to another big man.
