The Philadelphia 76ers have yet to see action with the 2024-25 season still waiting to be unpacked, but fans can now have a first look at the semi-overhauled squad, albeit digitally, following the release of the newest iteration of 2K with NBA 2K25.
Touting one of the most formidable teams in the NBA, the 76ers will definitely be one of the most thrilling teams to play as and against on 2K. The addition of Paul George will also yield a lot of curious onlookers as to how the team could stand up against the best of the best in the league, at least in this format.

Embiid leads the team as its highest-rated player. In addition, the 2023 Most Valuable Player is tied with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander for the second-highest rating among all current players, only bested by NIkola Jokic, Luka Doncic, and Giannis Antetokounmpo, who are all rated 97.
George has the sixth-best rating among all shooting guards, while Tyrese Maxey is tied for seventh in the point guard department.
While the 76ers do have a top-heavy roster, a fact reflected by the team’s player ratings on NBA 2K25, few should gripe at how the team will be kicking the season off ratings-wise. But if we were to nitpick, Caleb Martin should be higher than a mere 76. Also, it seems that the jury isn’t high on Jared McCain just yet, at least to begin the campaign.
As a team, Philadelphia 76ers have a team rating of 83, tied for second with seven other clubs behind the defending champions, the Boston Celtics, who were marked with an 85.
