1. The go-to Embiid-less lineup for the 76ers so far

  • Tyrese Maxey
  • De'Anthony Melton
  • Nicolas Batum
  • Tobias Harris
  • Marcus Morris Sr.

This has typically been the go-to starting lineup on nights when Embiid's unavailable. Maxey's quickness and assertiveness as a scorer, his ability to step up in Embiid's absence with such ease, are huge bonuses when trying to structure different lineups.

Back when James Harden was on the team, Tobias Harris had to sacrifice the majority of his offense, dropping from a typical 19 ppg to 15 ppg. With Harden gone now, Harris is back to his usual scoring responsibilities, and in most cases, will be who the offense looks to for a source of buckets.

This lineup has been mostly reliant on Maxey finding different ways to get the rest of the team open looks, and Harris scoring consistently when taking advantage of mismatches. As long as they can keep finding ways to be efficient at those things, this lineup should continue to be one of the more effective lineups Nurse can rollout.
