Jonathan Geib and Lucas Johnson are back with the most recent episode of The Sixer Sense Podcast. The NBA season had a very unique schedule this week due to the flexibility and exclusivity of the NBA's inaugural In-Season Tournament. Unfortunately, the Sixers were not involved, but we would be remiss if we did not recap it.

Was the In-Season Tournament a success in its first year? I would answer that question with a resounding yes. In my wildest dreams, I never thought I would see LeBron James take a charge in December, against Zion Williamson nonetheless! The NBA players took the Vegas games very seriously and the Championship lived up to the hype. We got to see the tournament's breakout star, Tyrese Haliburton, square off against the potential GOAT, LeBron James. The Lakers came out on top with a herculean performance by Anthony Davis of 41 points, 20 rebounds, 5 assists, and 4 blocks. Do the guys think LeBron still deserved to win Tournament MVP after that game by AD?

In Sixers news, there was one game since the last podcast and both Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey both scored 30+ points. This seems to be the pattern lately as they are an elite offensive duo. Kelly Oubre Jr. looked better coming off the bench again. We need to give him some time to get back to form and temper expectations. It has been a month since he saw NBA action, but he still has time to get back to the level he was playing at before his accident.

The podcast closes out with Jonathan and Lucas going around the NBA and discussing the most important topics in the league. Are the Rockers and Magic legit this year? Can the Thunder keep up this pace? Give the podcast a listen below!
