1. LeBron James

LeBron has a $51.4 million player option for next season. He could opt out and sign a multi-year deal. King James holds the cards. The Lakers want him back, and King James would prefer to stay in LA. It is all about figuring out a deal that works best for both sides.

The 76ers hoped drafting Bronny James would convince LeBron to come to Philly. James wants to play with his son in the NBA, but that does not appear to be the priority this summer. Bronny is not ready for a nightly role at the next level. He needs time to develop, which means LeBron has little reason to leave LA.

King James chose the Lakers in part because of his family. Do not expect him to leave on a whim. He wants the organization to improve its roster and give him a chance to compete for a championship. As long as that happens, King James will stay in Los Angeles.

The Philadelphia 76ers may add a marquee free agent this summer. Paul George and Klay Thompson headline the potentially available options. If they cannot find the right signing, expect Philly to get aggressive on the trade market. Daryl Morey wants to improve and knows it is a crucial offseason for his franchise. Stay tuned to see how it all plays out.
