LeBron has a $51.4 million player option for next season. He could opt out and sign a multi-year deal. King James holds the cards. The Lakers want him back, and King James would prefer to stay in LA. It is all about figuring out a deal that works best for both sides.

The 76ers hoped drafting Bronny James would convince LeBron to come to Philly. James wants to play with his son in the NBA, but that does not appear to be the priority this summer.
