5 Most likely teams to take Tobias Harris off 76ers hands this summer

The 76ers won’t have Tobias Harris next season, but who will?

3. Jazz

Utah projects to have significant cap space and is in the early stages of a rebuild. They have an All-Star in Lauri Markkanen and could look to take a significant step forward next season by signing Harris to a short deal with a high annual salary. Utah desperately needs a small forward upgrade and could benefit from his ability to space the floor.

The Western Conference is loaded, but head coach Will Hardy is no stranger to winning games few expect him to. If given a bit more talent, Utah could push for a place in the Play-In Tournament. They should be focused on developing their young pieces, but the Jazz may be better suited to seeing what they can do after adding Tobias Harris and other veterans in free agency.

Taylor Hendricks, Keyonte George, and Walker Kessler are all likely rotation pieces, but not stars. Utah has not found their young building block, but will they? The 2024 draft projects to be weak at the top, and the Jazz are not in the running for the number one pick now. Do not be surprised to see them add and try to make a postseason push.

The 6’8 forward is most likely to remain in the Eastern Conference as the path to the playoff is much easier. Do not rule out Tobias Harris reuniting with one of his former teams.
