Point guard: Tyrese Maxey

Outside of Joel Embiid, this is the other easiest choice for a perfect option in the starting lineup for next season. We have known since he first arrived with the 76ers that Tyrese Maxey had a special talent, but he has continually outdone his expectations and shown us why he is one of the next great players in Philadelphia franchise history.

The front office's decision to move away from James Harden allowed Tyrese to truly shine this past season, and his hard work was evidenced by his winning the Most Improved Player award. Putting up a career-high average 25.9 points per game in 37.5 minutes a night, Maxey was a consistent producer that was one of the main reasons Philadelphia was able to stay aloft in the wake of Embiid's absence.

He has more than proven what he is capable of. At this point, many would consider Maxey one of the top guards in the Eastern Conference as a whole, and in the same conversations as players like Tyrese Haliburton and LaMelo Ball. The incredible shot he made in Game 5 at Madison Square Garden a few weeks ago only further cemented his standing and proved he can be relied on in the biggest of moments.
