2. Paul George
Although he has yet to play a minute in a 76ers uniform, the significance of the Paul George signing with the franchise can not be overstated. While the team has had blockbuster trades to bring in star players, it’s been nearly 50 years since the team has added a marquee-free agent.
An established NBA superstar, nine-time NBA All-Star, six-time member of the All-NBA Team, and a four-time member of the NBA All-Defensive Team, PG-13 (or now, PG-8) has been regarded as one of the most elite wing players in the league for more than 10 seasons.
Previously, he starred for the Indiana Pacers, Oklahoma City Thunder, and Los Angeles Clippers where he gained a well-earned reputation as one of the premier two-way players in the Association. George is looking to win his first chip in Philadelphia.
