The Good - Tyrese Maxey has the keys

4th-year player Tyrese Maxey was just chosen to represent the Eastern Conference in the NBA All-Star game. This is the first all-star selection for the 23-year-old Maxey. Maxey is another 76er who has missed some time this year due to an injury, but fans are happy to have him back in the lineup. Maxey was sidelined for a few games but returned last week and put up a career-high 51 points against the Utah Jazz.

Tyrese Maxey in the 127-124 win over the Utah Jazz:

51 points | 17-27 FG | 7-9 3PT

With Joel Embiid sidelined for the foreseeable future, Tyrese Maxey holds the keys to the Sixers offense. Both Maxey and Tobias Harris will be expected to do much of the heavy lifting offensively if the Sixers hope to stay afloat in the Eastern Conference standings.

The Good - Tobias Harris has an opportunity to shine

The aforementioned Tobias Harris has had a couple big games recently.

Tobias Harris in the 119-107 loss to the Golden State Warriors:

26 points | 10-18 FG | 2-4 3PT | 10 rebounds | 38 minutes

Tobias Harris in the 127-124 win over the Utah Jazz:

28 points | 13-21 FG | 7 assists | 5 rebounds

With Embiid sidelined, the more that Harris has performances like this, the better of the Sixers will be. Along with backup big men Paul Reed and Mo Bamba looking at increased roles, Tobias Harris now has an increased opportunity to be a focal point of the offense. The good news is that he appears to be up for the challenge.
