The Sixer Sense Podcast returns on the eve of NBA basketball returning for the second half stretch. With approximately 30 games remaining for the majority of teams, the NBA Playoffs will be upon us before we know it. How will teams position themselves for playoff seeding?

Jonathan Geib and Lucas Johnson discuss the path ahead for the Philadelphia 76ers. With a number of players out due to injury, who is on track to be back in the lineup soon, and who is out for longer? Kyle Lowry will be making his debut for the Sixers this week. What can we expect from the 37-year-old homegrown guard? Will his familiarity with head coach Nick Nurse help him to mesh quicker with this roster?

Next up, the guys give their selections for the All-NBA teams this season. Will there be any controversy over the All-Defensive or the All-Rookie teams? You will want to hear this debate!

The podcast closes with Jonathan's and Lucas' predictions for the individual awards, most notably Most Valuable Player, Defensive Player of the Year, Coach of the Year, and Rookie of the Year. Under the new Collective Bargaining Agreement, the 65 games played to be eligible for awards are going to exclude the defending MVP Joel Embiid from consideration. In his absence, who is the frontrunner to win it? Will Nikola Jokic take home his third? Or will Shai Gilgeous-Alexander gain momentum as the year progresses? The conversation heats up for Most Improved Player and Coach of the Year. Who would you pick to win each of these awards? Leave a comment on the podcast episode at the link below!
