The Sixer Sense Podcast returns after the Sixers won back-to-back games by a combined total of 63 points! Joel Embiid was dominant in both games and the Sixers were impressive. Do the weak opponents lessen these victories in any way?

Embiid and Tyrese Maxey combined for 58 points in 55 combined minutes in the 146-101 win against the Washington Wizards. This game was never in doubt as the Sixers were up by 16 after the first quarter and 29 by halftime. The bench play was great and these rotation guys shot extremely efficiently. Marcus Morris Sr., Danuel House Jr., and Patrick Beverly scored in double digits and every player on the bench saw some court time in this rout.

If you thought the 3-20 Wizards were bad, can I interest you in the 2-22 Detroit Pistons? The Sixers won 129-111 even though Maxey struggled. He went 2-13 from the field and 0-6 from behind the arc. Everyone has an off night and when Joel Embiid has 30 points and 10 rebounds at halftime, it is an afterthought. Tobias Harris bounced back and looked great scoring 21 points on 10 shots and securing 7 rebounds. And Kelly Oubre Jr. looked like he did before his accident, being active on both ends of the floor and scoring 17 points on 7-9 shooting. Even though the competition was embarrassing, can the Sixers take anything from these two big wins? Can the bench continue playing like this?

The podcast closes out with the breaking news in the NBA that Draymond Green is being suspended indefinitely by the league. If you have been under a rock, Green yet again was ejected from a game for a non-basketball play. Less than a month after choking out Rudy Gobert, Green smacked Jusuf Nurkic in the face. He claimed he was trying to sell a foul, but Jonathan and Lucas disagreed. What do you think? Give the podcast a listen and comment with your thoughts!
