The Sixer Sense Podcast is back on the heels of a two-game win streak for the team. It may be small, but it is something. What can the players take from these wins to apply to the rest of the regular season or until Joel Embiid returns?

Jonathan Geib and Lucas Johnson first talk about the Sixers' win over the Charlotte Hornets. Philly had a slow start, but a strong second half secured a win in front of the home crowd. Tyrese Maxey and Tobias Harris combined for 64 points and Harris appeared to have answered the call to get out of his most recent slump.

Heading into the next game on the road versus a red-hot Dallas Mavericks team, expectations were tempered. Yet, Nick Nurse worked magic for a second time with his three-guard lineup and was able to get up early and hold on for an extremely valuable road win. Kyrie Irving and Luka Doncic got their points, but the Sixers held the rest of the Mavericks in check. Can the Sixers continue their winning ways to avoid the Play-In Tournament?

In another bit of good news, Joel Embiid spoke to the media for the first time since his knee surgery. The Sixers' big man firmly stated that he planned to return before the end of the season and that would be the case regardless of where the team was in the Eastern Conference standings. This should be extremely welcome news for Sixers fans. If, and this is a big if, Embiid is healthy, how many teams in the Eastern Conference would you take over them?
