The Sixer Sense Podcast returns following arguably the greatest performance by a Philadelphia 76ers player in the history of basketball! Joel Embiid scored 70(!!) points against the San Antonio Spurs on Monday night, and oh yeah, he added 18 points and 5 rebounds. Legend!

Jonathan Geib and Lucas Johnson break down the historic nature of Embiid's performance in the team's 133-123 win. Embiid had 34 points at halftime and 58 after three quarters so this was an all-night nonstop affair. He shot 24-41 from the field and 21-23 from the foul line. Rookie sensation Victor Wembanyama was in for a long night and you have to feel for the kid.

Following a performance like this raises larger questions about Embiid's place in the history of the game. Jonathan and Lucas debate whether Embiid is already the greatest Sixers player of all time. They also answer if he is a Hall of Fame lock even if he does not win an NBA Championship.

There were a few things to note from this game. After the final whistle blew, Embiid, Robert Covington, and Furkan Korkmaz had a heartfelt moment with Spurs' assistant coach, and former Sixers coach during The Process era, Brett Brown.

Embiid has come so far since Brown helped in his formative years and this was great to see. We also saw Embiid's growth in the postgame interview as he quickly said his focus was not on any personal accolades. He is solely and determinedly focused on the Holy Grail, the Larry O'Brien trophy

The monster game from Embiid was not the only big news this week. The Milwaukee Bucks fired head coach Adrian Griffin and subsequently hired Doc Rivers to lead the team. This came as a shock considering the Bucks have the second-best record in the NBA at 30-13. Will this affect the expectations for them in the Eastern Conference playoffs?

Speaking of the Eastern Conference, the Miami Heat upgraded their roster by trading Kyle Lowry and a first-round pick to the Charlotte Hornets for Terry Rozier. How much of an impact do the guys think Rozier will have in South Beach? Are they a threat to make it to the Finals in back-to-back years? Give the podcast a listen below!
