The Sixer Sense Podcast returns following a brutal loss to the LA Clippers. It could also be said the Sixers lost to the refs, but either way, it was a tough game to lose with only 9 games left and the 6-seed in the Eastern Conference still within reach.

Philly played two games since the last podcast and took losses to both the Sacramento Kings and Clippers. They currently sit 1.5 games behind the Indiana Pacers for the 6th seed, which is the last seed that avoids the NBA Play-In Tournament. Against Sacramento, the Sixers played strong defense against a strong-perimeter shooting team. The biggest issue they have is the Sixers cannot score themselves. They failed to reach 100 points in yet another game and ended their West Coast road trip on the wrong foot.

Returning home against a Clippers team that has played .500 ball as of late, gave the Sixers good competition that they could realistically win against. Paul George, Kawhi Leonard, and James Harden were relatively held in check, but this game came down to the last two minutes of the fourth quarter. Tyrese Maxey slipped on an inbounds play, Kawhi got back-to-back And-1s, and Kelly Oubre Jr. got assaulted at the rim and no foul was called. End game. What are Jonathan's and Lucas' thoughts on how this game ended? Does it matter that the refs acknowledged they were wrong after the game? Ask Oubre who had an all-timer of ref insults and I would say, no.

In more positive news, Nick Nurse reported Joel Embiid is planning to return before the end of the regular season. With just two weeks left, when do you think his first game back will be? Can Embiid help the Sixers make a deep playoff run? Give the podcast a listen below and leave a comment with your thoughts!
