Philadelphia 76ers rookie center Joel Embiid, in pattern horrifyingly similar to Jahlil Okafor, season is over. Meniscus tear in his knee thought to be more serious than initially believed
Philadelphia 76ers rookie center Joel Embiid is following the pattern of Jahlil Okafor. No he is still defensively quite adept. No, he is not a sudden name being tossed around in 29 various trade rumors.
Joel Embiid had a bruised knee later diagnosed as a meniscus tear later declared to be more serious and will end his season prematurely.

The news is sobering to a team, and city, that waited nearly three years to set his health on track. It’s disheartening to a fanbase who had to cherish each meted out “minutes restriction load restriction” appearance of Joel Embiid’s rookie season.
