As always, the LeBron James free agency buzz is heating up early. With the Cleveland Cavaliers looking as dysfunctional as ever, what has to happen for the Philadelphia 76ers to land him.

You do not have to be a rocket scientist to notice the Cavs have had one of the worst offseason’s in the NBA. On Friday afternoon, it was reported that their 25-year-old, four-time All-Star point guard Kyrie Irving requested a trade earlier in the offseason.

The best basketball player in the universe, LeBron James, is reportedly “frustrated and concerned” with how the Cavs have gone about their business. He is not intervening in team decisions, an unusual decision for LeBron given his track record of earning the fan-created title of “GM LeBron.”

LeBron was able to foresee the decline in Miami and made an educated decision to return to Cleveland. If James is preparing to make another move, there are a few teams that could be an option, one of which could potentially be the Sixers.

With one of the best young cores in the NBA and an abundance of cap space going forward, the Sixers are naturally going to be a destination free agents will desire to play in.

In LeBron’s case, the suspicion and hype of a Philadelphia landing has already begun, with much recent twitter activity surrounding a player he has taken under his wing in Ben Simmons. Both members of Klutch Sports, the connection between the two has been known for a while.
