The Human Glass Eater: Thomas Robinson Opened Eyes in Short Stint with Sixers
By Eric Mullin
Game of the Year- March 24, 2015 at Sacramento
21 minutes, 16 points, 7/12 FGs, 8 rebounds
When NBA aficionados look back on this late March Sixers-Kings match-up fifty years from now, they will be referring to it as the “T-ROB REVENGE GAME”. Against the team that drafted him, and subsequently traded him after 51 games, Robinson played like a lottery pick. He scored in the low post, off isolation dribble-drives, and off offensive rebounds. He even threw in an impressive reverse lay-up. Re-live it below.
Play of the Year
Thomas Robinson is not a high flyer like Nerlens Noel. A lot of his buckets are below the rim. But against the Lakers late in the year, Robinson defied gravity. If T-Rob does not return next year, he’ll have left Sixers fans with this and we are forever grateful for that. Goodnight, sweet Sacre.
