4 Teams Philadelphia 76ers Shouldn’t Trade With on Draft Night

Milwaukee Bucks
This isn’t a trade team I’ve seen brought up that much, but the Sixers are rumored to be thinking about trading into the mid-to-late lottery. The Milwaukee Bucks have the 10th overall pick, which holds true to those constraints.

Whether the Bucks would be willing to trade with the Sixers, however, is another story. The Bucks had a setback year this past season, not making the playoffs after sneaking in the season before. The Bucks welcomed in center Greg Monroe this season, in a project that was a bit of an “experiment” and it didn’t work out all that well.
Many people in the Bucks camp believe it would be best for the Bucks to let Monroe walk, but there is a smaller crowd that believes it would be best that he stays as the Bucks look to rebuild yet again.
Aside from moving Monroe, there’s really no reason for the Bucks to think about moving this pick. They are slated to pick up Tyler Ulis with the 10th overall pick, which isn’t a bad pickup by any means at that point in the draft.
The Sixers, who currently still possess Joel Embiid, Jahlil Okafor, and Nerlens Noel, have no use for a player like Monroe, and therefore would be smart to use time spent bartering with the Bucks elsewhere.
