The Philadelphia 76ers should keep a close eye on Duke power forward Marvin Bagley for the 2018 NBA Draft. Per 247Sports.com composite rating, he’s a perfect ten

The Philadelphia 76ers know that the University of Duke delivers NBA ready players in each draft, regardless of their age. The team has two players from that proud NCAAB tradition: center Jahlil Okafor and shooting guard J.J. Redick.

With any luck, the 76ers can add another Duke Blue Devil to the roster, power forward Marvin Bagley.  You have already heard plenty about him so far. Earlier in the month, Chris Kline compared him to Ben Simmons and Markelle Fultz.  A month earlier, he showed up in a 2018 NBA Draft Best Prospect at each position list.  Prior to that, he appeared in an article assessing the value of Marvin Bagley in the 2018 NBA Draft and how that impacts the trade up for Markelle Fultz.  So if you haven’t familiarized yourself with this young man, you’ve nobody but yourself to blame.

Winless for Wiggins indeed!

In retrospect, the last player to attain that perfect five-star 1.0000 rating is a player quite familiar to Philadelphia 76ers fans: Andrew Wiggins.  That rating occurred in 2013.  2018 is five years later.

In the end, Andrew Wiggins heard his name called by the Cleveland Cavaliers, but was almost instantly traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves. There, he has solidified himself as one of the cornerstone players for the team’s future.

You can expect the same from Marvin Bagley when he arrives to the NBA.
