Jerryd Bayless – wrist – Guard Jerryd Bayless arrived as a free agent with a sore wrist last year. After trying unsucessfully to rest and/or play through the pain, he had surgery and was shut down. He appears to be fully recovered.
Robert Covington – knee – Forward Robert Covington had a minor meniscus tear in his right knee. Following corrective surgery in April 2017, Covington cleared medical release in July and appears to be fully recovered.
Jahlil Okafor – knee – Center Jahlil Okafor injured his right knee back in February 2016. Since that time, he has struggled with pain in that knee. This season, he has dropped 20 pounds and admits that his knee has some good days and some bad days. While he continues to work through knee pain, he is not restricted and will likely see playing time in preseason.

Ben Simmons – foot – Ben Simmons broke his foot in training camp last season, delaying his rookie season for a year. That kept him on the bench for an entire season. But he did not waste away. He studied. In the process, Simmons learned the NBA game. He practiced. Ultimately, he would be a much better player when he returned to full health.
And he’s now at full health.
