Duke. Wendell Carter. 149. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. player. PF. 12

The Oklahoma City Thunder have been extremely disappointing to start the season. It’s always going to take time when two ball-dominant All-Stars joins forces with the most ball-dominant player in the league, but they should most definitely be performing better than they are at the moment.

Wendell Carter has been overshadowed by his front court teammate, Marvin Bagley III, but he’s been impressive nonetheless. Carter has quietly put up 12.6 points per game, 8.7 rebounds per game to go along with 1.9 blocks per game.

This selection would give the Thunder a player who has All-Star caliber potential. I’m sure Thunder fans would prefer to win now, and rightly so, but maybe a losing season won’t be all that bad if you end up with a player of Carter’s ability.
