23. Grayson Allen, SG, Duke

Allen has emerged as the vocal leader for an otherwise young Duke squad, an encouraging development considering his character issues in years past. He’s also the best senior in the 2018 class, which normally translates to immediate production — even if his ceiling is lower than his freshmen counterparts.

As a skilled shot-maker with plenty of range, Allen’s value is rooted in shooting. He’s somebody who can come off the bench and fill it up on the perimeter, which has a lot of value for a competitive team looking for ready-to-go talent late in the first round.

We’ve also seen some point guard skills from Allen over the years, although I doubt he transitions there full-time. His energy on defense is a positive as well.
