16. Wendell Carter Jr., PF/C, Duke

Al Horford was always the comparison of choice for Carter and it’s not hard to see why. At 6-foot-11 with a 7-foot-3 wingspan, he’s a skilled post scorer with underrated passing skills and some defensive potential at the five.

Carter hasn’t been featured much in Duke’s offense, but that’s mainly due to the talent around him. He has shown an impressive motor on the offensive glass, though, allowing him to clean up easy looks while giving Duke and insane advantage in that department alongside Marvin Bagley.

Shooting is a question mark at this point. His shot looked good in high school, but he hasn’t had the opportunity to shoot much at Duke. That’s something that will be stressed in pre-draft workouts.
