Garland projects as one of the most electric point guards in college basketball next season. He’s a quick-twitch athlete at 6-foot-3, using a quick first step and shifty handles to create space or work his way to the rim.

On top of his athleticism, Garland has shot the ball well in recent months. He projects as a legitimate three-level scorer from day one, with smooth pull-up mechanics and solid finesse as a finisher.

He can also leverage his quickness as a playmaker, drawing in defenders and locating open shooters on the perimeter. He’s the No. 1 lead guard for obvious reasons, and will be paired with some exciting talent at Vandy.

Defense is another strong suit for Garland. He lacks elite size, but can defend the point of attack well, making him a useful one-position defender.
