15. Reggie Jackson, Detroit Pistons

When healthy, Jackson has been a catalyst behind some of the Pistons’ most successful runs. The hype surrounding his OKC exit was overblown, but he’s an effective three-level scorer who adds another dynamic to the Detroit offense.

If he can stay on the floor next season, expect to see the Pistons in the playoffs. The East is wide open, and they’re primed for a mini-breakout in Blake Griffin‘s second season with the team.

14. D’Angelo Russell, Brooklyn Nets

Russell still hasn’t put everything together, but I’ll continue to bet on his talent. The former No. 2 pick has the silky scoring prowess and passing chops needed to be a star point guard. He isn’t a terrible defender either.

His decision-making and consistency, among other things, has been subpar to date. With that said, there are still moments where his talent shines through. And the Nets will continue to put faith in him as they aim for the playoffs next season.

13. Ricky Rubio, Utah Jazz

Rubio is a quality defender and elite passer, boasting the court vision that pushed him into the lottery years ago. His three-point shot finally came around last season, as he hit 35.2 percent from deep. He now has some complimentary scoring ability on top of his playmaking chops.
