NBA Draft 2019: Mock Draft 2.0
Nassir Little was expected to challenge his cross-state counterparts for the No. 1 pick coming into the season. His role at North Carolina has underwhelmed, though, with Roy Williams playing the five-star recruit just 20 minutes per game.
Even with fewer opportunities than other high-level prospects, Little has managed to make some strong first impressions. He thrives at either forward spot, hitting jumpers on the perimeter and using his strong frame to attack mismatches and get to the rim.
An aggressive perimeter scorer with defensive versatility, Little’s pedigree should keep him firmly in the top five. It would also be wise to expect an uptick in both opportunity and production as the season goes on. Little is too good not to get more touches.
