After spending his freshman season as the Cavaliers’ sixth man, De’Andre Hunter has stepped into the starting lineup with great success. He’s currently averaging 16.4 points per game and shooting 47.6 percent from deep, providing Virginia with a much-needed scoring punch.

Standing 6-foot-8 with a 7-foot-2 wingspan, Hunter is the ideal modern four. He’s an excellent face-up scorer, making strong moves to the rim and hitting the occasional pull-up jumper. He can also pick and pop at a high level, with clean spot-up mechanics.

It’s Hunter’s defense that puts him in the top five. He’s the best defensive prospect on the board right now, boasting the ability to check one through five in certain situations. As his frame continues to fill out, NBA teams will covet his two-way versatility.
