3 player with the most to prove to end the season: Seth Curry

Acquiring the younger brother of best 3-point shooter ever in Stephen Curry this past offseason from the Dallas Mavericks for Josh Richardson and a draft pick, was deemed a great move. However, Seth Curry has struggled shooting the ball as the season has progressed.

While he’s averaging a career-high 2.9 assists per game, Curry as a whole has seen his points per game, field goal percentage and 3-point percentage drop from his previous season. Playing with two players like Simmons and Joel Embiid should open things up even more for Curry than playing alongside Luka Doncic last season, but he’s still struggling.

The main reason for these struggles is health issues for the Philadelphia 76ers’ shooting guard. He had a hot start to begin the season before he tested positive for COVID-19. Outside of missing most of the month of January due to that illness, Curry has also dealt with a lingering ankle injury and also a hip flexor injury.

Curry needs to prove he can stay healthy and that he can recaption his hot start where he averaged 15.2 points on 51.9 in the first five games of the season. If he can, then he makes the starting five even more dangerous.
