Potential Simmons trades with each California team: Golden State Warriors

This isn’t the first time that The Sixer Sense has produced a hypothetical trade article involving the Golden State Warriors. However, all of those were before the draft and now that the Warriors have made their picks, the proposed trade below keeps that in mind.

It should be noted that Milton and Charles Bassey were added in to help make up for the number of players being exchanged between the two teams.

Andrew Wiggins arguably had the best year of his career finally becoming a two-way player. However, he’s still not that attractive of a piece for the Philadelphia 76ers as he’s extremely overpaid. Getting three first round picks should help offset that price a bit.

The Sixers get a plethora of young players in this deal. Jonathan Kuminga has the most potential of any of the players in this past draft. Moses Moody should be a plug-and-play 3-and-D rookie. Jordan Poole has already shown signs of being a very good shooter.

If the 76ers were rebuilding, then this is a great haul for Simmons. In actuality, they aren’t and they are trying to win now. That doesn’t mean that they can’t trade this package for another All-Star caliber player in the future which makes this trade still viable.
