3 players that should get a training camp contract: Kyle Alexander

Kyle Alexander is one of the more interesting young prospects on this list. Alexander played on the Miami Heat for two games in the 2019-20 season. He didn’t play in the NBA nor the G-League last season, yet the 6-foot-11 big man is a very interesting prospect for the Philadelphia 76ers.

The 24-year-old big man is an athletic player who has the potential to be a two-way big man. He was on the Pheonix Suns’ Summer League roster this past offseason and flourished. He averaged 11.4 points, 9.0 rebounds, 1.0 steals, and 1.6 blocks, while making 56.4 percent from the field.

However, it should be noted that the last time he saw NBA action, he didn’t impress. In the two NBA games he played in, he averaged 1.0 points and 1.5 rebounds. To be fair to him, he didn’t get much playing time, but the potential is there for the Sixers to inspect in training camp.

He can’t really stretch the floor, but that’s ok, his athleticism and defensive versatile makes him an interesting prospect for training camp. Having him on an Exhibit 10 would certainly be worth it, especially if he shows continued offensive growth on the Blue Coats.
