After an ugly fourth quarter collapse versus the Brooklyn Nets last Friday, the Sixers handled business on the road a few days later. We start the podcast with an analysis of the victory against OKC.

The 76ers could have underestimated the Thunder on their home court, but Doc Rivers had Philly prepared. We dive into the performances of Joel Embiid, Tobias Harris, and the scorching hot Seth Curry. The bench play is dissected, as Georges Niang and Furkan Korkmaz continue to impress. Shake Milton missed another game due to injury, but we bring up Tyrese Maxey’s contribution to the Sixers’ win.

The next topic revolves around the loss to the Brooklyn Nets. We explore the reasons why Philly allowed the Nets to go on a 16-1 run in the final four minutes of the game. Why didn’t Doc Rivers challenge the two plays that apparently would have been in favor of the Sixers? Why couldn’t the 76ers stop the bleeding and get a bucket late? We break it all down.

The podcast then pivots to the recent support for Ben Simmons. We discuss the remarks that Joel Embiid had before the Brooklyn game. We also touch on the social media posts from Tobias Harris that encouraged Simmons to get the help he needs to improve his mental health. The disgruntled point guard is not getting fined by the team, so perhaps the organization is settling the situation just enough to get past the awkward drama for now.
