With Sixers training camp just weeks away, we decided to invite a special guest back to the podcast to help build anticipation. It’s been exactly a year since the former Sixers coach, Jimmy Lynam, spoke with us, and he returned to offer his insight and analysis on the 76ers.

As an NBC Sports Philly analyst, Lynam has plenty to share about the current day Sixers. We start the podcast off though with some of his fondest memories as a former player and coach. He recalls the time he played for Saint Joe’s and the time he coached his team to an upset victory over a top DePaul team in the 1981 NCAA Tournament. In addition, he describes aspects of the current NBA that he enjoys and what things he would change.

Next, the podcast pivots to current day hoops. Lynam explains what he thought about the Sixers’ off-season moves. Who did he like being added to the team? Who is still on the free agent market that he believes the Sixers should avoid? In addition, he gives analysis regarding the team’s core 4 players, Tobias Harris, Tyrese Maxey, James Harden, and Joel Embiid.

The last topic revolves around his prediction for the season. Coach Lynam lays out what must happen for the 76ers to win a title. What is the key factor in the team’s success?

Who will have to step up

to ensure the Sixers achieve ultimate success? Listen to find out!
