3 rebuilding teams who could be Sixers trade partners: Houston Rockets

Like the other two teams on this list, the Houston Rockets also selected in the top-3 picks in the past draft and came away with Jabari Smith. The Rockets are still recovering from the departure of current Sixers guard James Harden who carried the franchise for eight years.

Smith is set to carry the franchise into their new era of basketball with the core of Jalen Green and Alperen Sengun. They have plenty of young players who can contribute like Tari Eason, Kevin Porter Jr., Usman Garuba, Josh Christopher, TyTy Washington, and Daishen Nix.

They also have plenty of attractive veterans, some of which might be waived before the season start. However, until then, they have former 76ers Trey Burke and Boban Marjanovic. They also have Marquese Chriss, Eric Gordon, David Nwaba, and Sterling Brown,

Burke is a spark plug point guard and Marjanovic is a giant in the paint. Chriss is a rim-running big man, Gordon is a good sixth man for most contenders, Nwaba is a defensive stopper, and Brown is an ok 3-and-D wing. Outside of Gordon, acquring these Rockets veterans is an easy enough task.

Which of these veterans on these three rebuilding teams do you think can help the Sixers this season? Comment your thoughts below.
