However, his longtime agent, Rich Paul, does not believe that clinching another ring with this new ball club means absolutely nothing for his legacy. Well, The King has a prime opportunity to make that claim a shortsighted one, as leading the franchise to a title will hand him a record never been accomplished before.
Speaking on the Game Over podcast he hosts with Max Kellerman, Paul, who heads Klutch Sports, doubled down on the common take that LeBron's legacy is already firmly cemented. While he is indeed correct in that regard and he made his remark in good taste, it is simply hard to agree to his notion that a championship with the 76ers will not add anything to his legacy when it is all said and done.

If James wins a championship with the 76ers, he will be the first player in the history of the game to win a title with four different franchises. Now, that is something that will definitely place him in uncharted territory among his contemporaries and even those legends that preceded him. As such, Paul cannot simply make the claim that winning a title in Philly will not do anything for his legacy.
The 76ers also have a championship drought that has lasted for more than four decades, so LeBron helping the current squad get over the hump and break that undesirable streak would further bolster his case as the GOAT.
Legends who have stayed with one franchise in their entire career are often placed on a higher pedestal than those who jumped ship like James, but winning with various ball clubs is an amazing feat in and of itself. Different situations make championship contention more difficult, and actually getting the job done is another story altogether.
The Philadelphia 76ers are widely touted as a definitive favorite to win the title next season. On that same note, LeBron James also has his own reasons for choosing to sign with the franchise as his career comes to its final stages. Hopefully, both parties can coexist to reach their common goal, which is to win a championship to prove everyone wrong and cement that status they have long desired.
