It was a rough start to the month of November for Philadelphia 76ers, but the team slowly came together as the month progressed.

The beginning part of November didn’t go well for the Philadelphia 76ers, they lost five out of their first eight games of the month. However, the Sixers were able to come together and start playing excellent basketball by the end of the month. Their record for November was 10-6, mostly thanks to their hot play to end the month.

Despite several key players missing time in November, there were still positive signs of growth in terms of development for individual players and the team’s chemistry as a whole. It’s clear that players have begun to figure out their roles and team has started to develop an identity, but it wasn’t without some growing pains. Last month’s player rankings highlighted the team’s defensive abilities, where as this one is more focused on the club’s development.

17. Zhaire Smith

November Stats: None

Previous ranking: 16th

“Yet like Smith, Shayok failed to make his 76ers debut during November and probably won’t anytime soon.”

Sadly, Zhaire Smith didn’t make his season debut in November. He’s still an outsider looking in terms of getting minutes in the NBA. Unless multiple injuries happen to Philly’s wing rotation, it might be a while before he finally plays for the Sixers. It’s sad, but fans probably won’t see Smith play in Philadelphia too much this season.

16. Marial Shayok

November Stats: None

Previous ranking: 17th

Despite being on a two-way contract, Marial Shayok has much more experience than Smith. Shayok’s four years in college should help him break into the rotation earlier than Smith. Yet like Smith, Shayok failed to make his 76ers debut during November and probably won’t anytime soon.
