Center

2015 is a great draft if a team is in the market for a starting center with a top three pick. Most years, big men are scarce to come by and NBA teams rely on underclassmen guards loaded with potential but that is not the case this year.

More from The Sixer Sense

Karl-Anthony Towns is NBA ready because he is a tremendously well conditioned athlete known for playing well under pressure. Towns’ 12-foot jump shot continues to improve to round out his offensive arsenal. On the defensive side of the ball he may have no equal in college ball patrolling the interior like a man possessed. KAT is an intimidating presence indeed and the first option offensively as he has worked tirelessly on his game. Most NBA scouts agree that he can become a true NBA center and franchise player. Towns is an 80 percent free-throw shooter and averages more than two blocks per game. His ability to score (10 points) and rebound (6.6 rebounds) will continue to blossom at the next level.
