18. Anfernee Simons, SG, IMG Academy

Simons is spending a post-Graduate year at IMG Academy, meaning he’s capable of jumping straight to the draft. He originally commited to Louisville next season, but that doesn’t seem to be his plan at this point.

While young and inexperienced, there’s a lot to like with Simons’ upside. He’s an advanced scorer, boasting tight handles and quick-twitch athleticism at 6-foot-4. He generates space well in isolation and is plenty explosive when driving the lane.

He’s still filling out his frame, so defense will be a struggle, but he has the tools with a 6-foot-7 wingspan. Like every high school prospect, he’d be a work in progress. That shouldn’t dissuade a competitive team that can afford to take it’s time developing him.
