Arizona. DeAndre Ayton. 1. player. 211. . C

The Grizzlies will have an interesting choice here. Are they looking to win now with a healhty Marc Gasol and Michael Conley, or are they beginning to view things through a longer lens? If they opt to go the latter route, Ayton will probably be the pick.

While I currently have Doncic at No. 1 on my board, Ayton probably has a higher upside. His physical tools alone should make him a dominant presence offensively, while his defense should grow under an NBA coaching staff.

He already has a solid post game with the ability to stretch the floor and knock down jumpers. Add in his passing skills at the five, and Ayton is somebody teams can run their offense through. He’s the best big man prospect since Karl-Anthony Towns.
