Jodie Meeks

It’s clear that after last season, Jodie Meeks is near the end of his is 10-year career. At 31-years-old, Meeks didn’t have a team for most of the season. He ended his season with the eventual champions, the Toronto Raptors. In the eight regular season games, Meeks showed he can contribute to a NBA roster.

He averaged 6.4 points, 1.5 rebounds and 1.0 assist, while converting 44.4 percent of his 3-point attempts. He still has value as a back end of the rotation floor spacer. If the Philadelphia 76ers miss out on several of their highly regarded targets, then they could bring Meeks in on a veteran’s minimum contract. It should be noted that halfway through his rookie year, Meeks was traded to the Sixers and spent two and half seasons in Philly.

Nik Stauskas

Nik Stauskas has been mentioned as a free agent option several times by myself and Justin DiVirgillio of The Sixers Sense. Stauaskas has turned himself into a quality 3-point shooter that fills the void of perimeter shooting that the 76ers need.

Last season, he averaged 5.9 points, 1.9 rebounds and 1.2 assists, while shooting 37.2 percent from behind the 3-point line with both the Portland Trail Blazers and Cavaliers. The only thing that isn’t a great fit in regards to Stauskas in Philly would be that he’s not a high volume 3-point shooter. For his career, he’s attempted 3.3 3-point shots per game. That will have to increase if the 76ers add him this offseason.
