This final player is a throwback from “The Process” days in Ersan Ilyasova. The stretch-four played the past two seasons for the Milwaukee Bucks before getting waived this past offseason. However, it might not be the last time the 33 year old put on an NBA uniform.
According to Adam Hermann of NBCSPhilly, Ilysavoa has been rumored to be have been talking to several NBA teams about signing this season. The Sixers of course be interested in his services as Zach Ciavolella of Philly Sports Network has written about.
All that being said, it can be argued that Ilyasova had the best two scoring stints of his career with the Sixers. He averaged more points per game with the Sixers than any other team he’s played for. During his 12 year NBA career, Ilyasova has averaged 10.3 points and 5.7 rebounds, while making 36.5 percent of his shots from deep.
He’s not the same player he once was, but he could still be a productive player for the Sixers. Like Beasley, he would be an upgrade over the current backup power forward Mike Scott.
There are some interesting free agent options available for the Philadelphia 76ers to look at while they figure out their power forward depth chart. Fixing their depth at power forward would only help strengthen a pretty strong contender moving forward.
